The following text is a brief overview of what EasyX is and what can be done with it. EasyX is an ActiveX control designed specifically with Visual Basic« in mind. The control enables the Visual Basic« programmer to use several of the DirectX« technologies; DirectDraw«, DirectSound« and DirectInput«. No prior knowledge of the DirectX« technologies are required to use this control. The control is designed to be especially useful for game programmers.

By using the EasyX ActiveX control from Rankan Soft you agree to the following license agreement:
With the phrase ("Software") appears, this agreement points to the EasyX ActiveX control and its associated document from Rankan Soft.
LICENSE AGREEMENT:
The product is under international and national copyright treaties. The software is not sold, but licensed.
1. You may use the product ("Software") on any compatible computer provided that it is used in the WindowsÖ or Windows NT operating systems. You may only use one copy of the product ("Software") at any given time.
2. You may NOT distribute the product ("Software") as a single component, unless Rankan Soft gives an agreement upon distribution
4. You may not in reverse-engineer, disassemble or other-wise attempt to change the software in any way.
5. You may only use this product ("Software") if you agree to that neither Rankan Soft or any reseller / distributor will be held responsible for any damage, errors, omissions or other inaccuracies that can occur from use of this software. The use of this software is at your own risk.
6. Special sections of this product ("Software") may be freely distributed. These sections will be noted if such is the case.
7. You may not use this software in products, which may be qualified as illegal by standing law. These illegal products does also currently include:
7a: Password-guessing programs or algorithms
7b: Anonymous e-mailers and mass-mailers
7c: Products, which include sexually illegal software and/or material.

Distribution
Registered users:
You are currently not allowed to distribute the items under sections 2 - 6 under the heading The EasyX Control package. Only the EasyX ActiveX control (Easyx.ocx) may be distributed as part of a visual basic project. You may not use the EasyX ActiveX control as a constituent control. The distribution of the EasyX ActiveX control (Easyx.ocx) is royalty free.
Non-registered users:
Non-registered users are only allowed to use the control in the Visual Basic development environment or any other development environment. You are not allowed to compile a program, which uses the EasyX ActiveX control (Easyx.ocx).
